Many dance shoes are 1 to 1 1/2 full size smaller than a regular street shoe. Dance shoes, especially ballet shoes, are meant to be worn snug against the foot in order to offer the most control. The best thing to do to get a good fit is to measure your feet. Put your foot on a piece of paper and draw a line around it as close to the foot as possible. Then you can measure the longest point.
